Faith Layout

Hello friends! Have you had a day where you would just like to get your hands messy and play with some colors? Today, I would like to share with you all a layout which I've created when I had that moment.

This layout features BoBunny's Faith collection. I've make use of the gorgeous colors in this collection to create this colorful layout. I wanted to express the happy and fun relationship that a mother has with her daughter through this layout. I think it is best to create a fun and colorful layout to represent this thoughts and emotions.

Here are some details on it.

To create the colorful background, I've used several glimmer sprays in layers. For textures, I've used some white gesso and some stencils. For details, I've used some stamps and solvent ink.

To create the title, I've used some stencils and water based ink which I've distressed it using the water distressing technique.

The used of some colorful vellum cut-outs from this collection makes layering more interesting and artsy. I've often been asked what is the best way to attach vellum pieces to projects. I always opt for stronger, clear and fast drying adhesives such as Beacon 3 in 1 advanced craft glue. It dries clear and fast drying which is perfect for attaching transparent and slippery surfaces.

I hope you all enjoyed this layout and hope to see you all again soon!

Life & Color Bookmarks

Hi everyone! Have you ever had the moment when you are halfway reading a fun book and can't find a bookmark to mark where you've stopped at? I've experienced this incident many times because I tend to lost my bookmarks easily.... LOL! Therefore, I will always create some bookmarks with some of my leftover papers whenever I can.

Today, I would like to share some bookmarks which I've created using BoBunny Life in Color collection. The colors and images of this collection inspired me to create some cool bookmarks. Here are some closer look at them.

I've cut out tons of pieces from the pattern papers to create some layering on this bookmark. To add some details, I've used some pearlescent and transparent gel.

Now, let's take a look at this second bookmark.

This time, I've added a third color, orange, to the color theme in the earlier bookmark. This better described the sentiment color of this bookmark.

Sometimes, I do think that we need different types of bookmark to create the right mood and feel for us when we are reading a certain book. And having all these different bookmarks are perfect just for that. Happy creating!
